DAN Project Dive Exploration

YOUR DIVE COMPUTER  is compatable with the   PROJECT DIVE EXPLORATION Cochran Undersea Technology has incorporated in their Windows Analyst software the capability of providing DAN with the diving and dive profile information required for analysis in Project Dive Exploration. You can assist DAN in their mission to support and carry out underwater diving research and education particularly as it relates to the improvement of diving safety, medical treatment and first aid. Once you have downloaded the dive computer you will need to complete  all the dive log information. Then display one dive profile and under the printer icon select "export all new dives as a DAN file". This will convert the .wan file to a .cci file. The .cci file is the format we need the data in for analysis. Then email this file as an email attachment to dasdata@dan.duke.edu 48-hours after the end of the dive series or altitude exposure log on to http://www.DiversAlertNetwork.org and complete the online 48-hour report form. The 48-Hour Report is just as important as the dive profile.  Please complete the 48-Hour Report so your data may be analyzed. The information contained in the dive log fields are necessary for the analysis of diver characteristic, dive characteristics and dive profile data.
